Can you hold tight on the website for now as it will all have to be done in line with the charity commission etc. I will make sure the trustees have a chat about how best to go forward. Doesnt stop you from planning though xxx

You're welcome Dawn   I've spend the past 11 years being a mum, am job hunting at the mo but need evening hours and will be back at the bottom of the heap. Plus haven't a clue what I want to do. Anything non-agro me thinks  :pathead:
A house without either a cat or a dog is too clean and quiet.

Still trying to see if mum's  got the bridesmaid dress, or even my dress ...

Also checking if mum's kept any of her 'dress' clothes .. she's a petite though so there may be a problem finding anyone that would like some of her stuff ... knowing my luck I'll find out they got fed up storing stuff and got rid of it ..

Caz used to get stuff off everyone a while back and sell them on Ebay .. so that may be possible if you're willing to take that on Dawn ..

Just another way of doing it   :)

I have a uni exam and interview to retrain to study for a degree in social work at the end of the month, they say its full time but the first year is only one day a week in class! Have you thought about retraining Peppa?  xx

Thank you Julieann the items would be lovely.
I think I'd just like to try the formal wear for now as they ought to be reasonably 'big ticket' items with a specific market i can trade to and from and see what happens next  ;D

Another question are you just thinking of women's clothing or mens dress wear as well.

The clothing mum has is 'formal wear' but like I said petite so not likely to find easy buyers so  no use to you anyway  :D

Defo womens formal wear, i'm happy to store womens stuff in my house and women can come over and try on dresses.  The only males allowed in must be under 12 or have 4 paws, men yuck... stinky beasts all of them  will make exception for George Cloony though.

I bet your mums stuff would be great, its wales after all women are traditionally 5'2'' and under

Mum's got a fur jacket  that dad bought her  - I think she wore it once  as she didn't like wearing real fur ... today you'd call it a fur shrug .. funny how things come back around

Dawn - dont be misled by the SW degree - i complteted the 1st 18mths before having a complete meltdown - i was a complete mess (not all SW related - but definately played a huge part). The first year is easy peesy - got all A's and B's and flew through the 1st year placement - even though it was child protection and heart-breaking  :cryblow:.
Got half way through the second year - but what a nightmare - you have sooooo much to do in a ridiculously short space of time - i had a really crap placement which didnt get me the opportunities to demonstrate my learning targets - aswell as personal stuff at home - and i had a near breakdown.
I know a lot of my fellow students found it just as hard too - and many of us ended up on anti-depressants just to get through.
Any way sorry to highjack your thread but i didnt want you to think it was going to be easy - and the 1st year is a walk in the park - but the rest is proper full on hard work.
It is achievable though - and when i feel a lot stronger i intend to complete the rest - as its where my passion is - i worked in SW for many years. I do have a degree in Behavioural Science though (just to put into perspective how hard the SW degree is).
Good luck - and enjoy the first year  ;D

Oh Bugger Zoe,
I just wanted an uncomplicated degree that wouldn't be too academic like law which was 9-5 lectures and mean competitive students. I wanted a more hands on and supportive environment to work and study in.   I wanted to be able to have a job where i could just locum so i would be at home for Alexander during the holidays :(  Now I'm just scared, I suffer quite badly with stress as it i I cant afford to get ill being a single mother.  Oh no, I'm worried, will you be at the next paws4tea so you can tell me a bit more?

Dawn xxx
