I like it  :)

I'll have a chat with Peter, Jackson's owner and see if he'll allow us to hijack some of Jackson's thread .. is it possible to have a different blog for each dog within it? I'm thinking of some of Mac's stuff as well. Jackson's story is a good opener but other short humerous  ( :dunno:) stories from some of the other threads could be posted.

Thinking of the fact that Leane and Kaz are arranging for the garden to be split in 2 dogs one side kids the other .. seems their dog Liquie likes the trampoline  ;D is that sort of thing ok George alongside the other stuff ..

Unfortunately it won't work like that (blog per dog). It will be like my blog, but I will tag all posts with owner (forum) name and dogs name so that searches will pull out the relevant stories/pics.

i like the idea of this blog but i was thinking more of a blog of foster carers. maybe called something like a foster carers story (crap but it gets my meaning over) every foster carer would be asked if they would like to write a story as i've said before about how they got into fostering, how they found fp, the fosters that have stood out the most etc etc and then send that to george who will look over it and post it.

A couple of foster carer's stories would be ok i'd have thought though that after a while people wouldn't go back if it was all much of the same.

We've all enjoyed reading 'Jackson's' story, I know  - from the pm's I get when I haven't updated for a while  ::)  - that others like reading some of Mac and Macey's tales .. they're not much but it makes people smile .. no difference to the one I just mentioned of Liquie

I'd have thought you could run with a mixture .. one from someone helping at a 'Homes' or another event .. maybe FP seen by some of the FP children .. plus the fosterer's tale
 ;D

For the blog to work we do need to open it up to more than the foster part of Four Paws. Many a funny story comes from a walk, a day out, a new encounter - these will be experienced by both fosterers and adoptees alike - one big happy family together  :grouphug:

Each article should be 'unique' and relate to either the dog or faster carer/owner.

Comments can be made by readers but you will have to include your (forum) name in the text as identification.  Comments will be moderated before publication and inappropriate comments will be deleted.

You can say what you like about the post, just keep it clean and avoid unpleasantness.

A blog is like a diary.

It has a 'core' in which you can write your daily 'doings' and you can add extra 'pages' for information, rules, lists or whatever you want.  But those extra pages will be just that ... a page.  The 'core' will be a series of pages the titles of posts will be displayed in your archive list so you can re-visit past articles.

I would think a general four paws blog would be a good start. Dogs in and out, events coming up, stories etc.
