No current photos but please see her with her puppies in'tasty tots'

Age: Approx 4 years
Breed: Terrier type
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat friendly: Yes
Child friendly: Yes
Size: medium
Fostered: Blackwood, South Wales

I have only been fostering Mitzie since Friday night but I am happy to confirm everyone's opinion of her that she is a very sweet, loveable little girl.  Angel
I am not able to test her with very young children but I would imagine she would be fine as she is a gentle little soul.
She is coming out of her shell though and has been playfighting very energetically with my dog this afternoon!

She loves human company and a cuddle and she also loves her food!
She is thoroughly enjoying her walks but her recall is non existent so we keep her on an extending lead. With proper training this might improve but my garden isn't big enough to try it properly. She does like a doggy chocolate button or two and is learning to sit for this! She also is a bit of an escape artist so a secure garden would be vital.
I will add more pics as soon as possible but she has a lovely little face like a furry seal and looks like butter wouldn't melt!  In Love

Hi Helen, I know she has been given a lovely foster home with you, We met her briefly when we viewed the pups and she was lovely with the boys , we felt comfortable with them fussing her, I agree she has got a lovely little face. Keep up the good work.  Wink

I had the gorgeous Mitzie stay with me & my family for a while before having her pups and she is just a fantastic houseguest In Love, she was fabulous with my children aged 5 & 8 and is very gentle with them. She is a very loving dog & enjoys lots of cuddles, when she gets to know you she also does this fantastic 'terrier talk' where she will have a conversation with you! Pat Head ROFL

The vet seemed to think she was aged around 4   Grin, She absolutely adores doggy chocs!, I took her on a Meet & Greet once at Pets at Home & the staff were giving her a mixture of treats but she spat all the others out apart from the choccies (typical girl! ROFL)

Edited to say:....remember this lovely girl was only a few weeks away from her due date in these pics so she's a lot more 'slimline' now!

Here's some piccies of the utterly gorgous Mitzie when she was here Love

Having a cuddle with my daughter Love

Kisses from Mitzie & Ruby Love

Belly tickles please!!

Just a quick update to say that Mitzie is such an easy little girl and seems so settled that I can hardly believe we only got her on Friday evening!  In Love

She is really getting her mojo back now after giving birth and she spent ages last night playing tug of war with a toy monkey with my dog Ruby. They went round in circles and wore themselves out!

Afterwards they both cwtched up on the sofa with their dad, each with a paw across his tummy and we all settled down to watch animal cops Houston - I swear I caught them both tutting at the screen!  Grin

She also met my grown up children last night and my 23yr old  daughter is completely smitten with her  Love  I really believe she will be a wonderful, easy little dog for some lucky family as she's affectionate, funny, and good with all other animals and hoomans. She's also clean and housetrained, enjoys a bath and isn't a picky eater. In fact Ruby is much easier to feed since she's watched Mitzie tucking in!  Woohoo

All she needs now is a nice new home with owners prepared to try and work on some of the training she missed out on as a pup and she will be the perfect little houseguest!  Wave

One final update : Mitzie is now microchipped and was a very brave girl, barely a whimper. I think she will also be a good little guard dog as she barked quite loudly at Matt when he knocked the door (perhaps she knew why he was there!)   Curse

Sorry to be a pain but if I send my photos of Mitzie that I took on my phone to someone's e-mail address could they post them here? My daughter posted the last picture but I don't know what she did and she only sent one! I feel Mitzie deserves a bit more! x Hug
