Linked to calendar.

Are there any definite takers for this please?  We need a presence with some collection buckets.

Any dogs must be rock solid and preferably not bark during the service!

Thanks

don't worry there's always one that does bark - there's a poodle that goes every year who famously used to bark at certain points in the service - my two rushed the vicar at the altar once as they were so excited to say hello to him and the poor bloke almost ended up flat on his back in the altar.

Someone from four paws may have to give a speech about the rescue

We need a presence with some collection buckets.

In previous years the collection is done as normal in the church rather than collection buckets and the particular charity receives the money once its counted by them - not sure if this is the case this time but its a church collection with proceeds to us

:thinkin: Does anyone think we could get this in the South Wales Echo Newspaper under Church Services - for free - will enquire

 Also Penny's lovely posters about the service could go into anyone's local church for the church noticeboard - just a thought

Spoken to South Wales Echo newsdesk today - fingers & paws crossed - information about the service will appear one evening next week under "Whats On" and maybe... a little mention about the Charity.

The  Animal Blessing service - the Reverend Jenkyns has done a printed order of service for the Pet Blessing and his dog "Harley" will be there. She is a Rhodesian Ridgeback x Boxer who is 8 and yes he told me she is named after the Harley Davidson motorbike ! There will also be a prayer for animals who are no longer with us.
