Breed: Staffie Age: Over 7 years Dog Friendly: Needs to be an only dog Cat Friendly: Not tested Child Friendly: Not tested Fostered: Cardiff Mr Bram is a confident and affectionate young lad. He doesn’t get on well with other dogs, but don’t let that put you off because once he has you to himself he really makes the most of it. I have never had so many Staffy kisses in my life – I think he just doesn’t like to share you with the other pooches! He really is a very active boy, he loved being on his walk and was so excited to be out and about. I would say he has a lot of energy, but is very good on his lead. Bram is a beautiful boy, with lovely markings. When we stopped he would always be sniffing away and looking around to see what was coming up next We stopped to take some photos and he got into the long grass and rolled around. He seemed to love all the different sights and sounds going on and is very playful. He didn’t know too many commands – but he seems like such an intelligent lad that I am sure he could master them with no problems. He really enjoyed having a biscuit – so food bribes are also an option! Here he is! Please put in an application in the first instance if you are interested in Bram. Approved applications will be home checked. Details of our adoption procedures and adoption application form are here

Yeah, he's a little star! Again, like all staffies it seems, super affectionate, loves his tummy rubs, and loves to give staffy kisses, and he has the most amazing colours ever, a really handsome lad as you can see

Ian here! Yeah, it gets confusing, Vickie keeps hijacking my username! lol I would say that Bram is very attentive when out walking, he constantly checks if your there, looking up and getting concerned when one of you us walks off, which does lead me to believe that he could be easily trained, he really seems to thrive off attention, and seems the sort of dog who would be a good listener and would listen to commands if trained.

Hello everyone! We had the pleasure of taking Mr Bram out today for a day out on the beach I am pleased to report back that he was ever such a good boy! He was in the car for about an hour and was brilliantly behaved. It was a bit of a test for Bram, with all the people and other dogs around but he handled it well and took it in his stride. Bram has an excellent temperament and loves everyone he meets. He had a lot of cuddles from other dog owners we met on the beach and he lapped up the attention We were very proud of Bram, as we were unsure of how he would react to the other dogs around. He was a very good boy, he looked from a distance but wasn't what I would call too interested. Later on in the walk when we were feeling more confident with him we walked through some dogs who were off the lead, and one came up to sniff Bram. At this point we expected him to react - but he was good as gold the other dog sniffed his behind, and then went face to face with him before jogging off again. There was no reaction from Bram, no teeth shown or snarling or barking. We were very proud of him, and I certainly think that although he may not like other dogs all that much (we need to test him some more to get an accurate picture) he is certainly not going to create any problems in public areas such as parks, beaches etc if he comes across other dogs who may be walking past at a distance. Bram is a gorgeous boy with big brown eyes, we were very sad to take him back to Claire's (thank you Claire for letting us come and take him again). One of the comments another dog owner made was that he was 'very handsome' and 'he's lovely, why don't we keep him' we told him we would love to but it's not practical, and that hopefully his forever home will be along soon Some staffy kisses for Ian:

It's our pleasure - he was ever so good! He hopped straight into the car boot and rested his head on the back seat all the way to Claire's - think he was a tired boy after his day out We have talked about it and would be happy to bring Bram along to the Four Paws Show if no-one else is currently planning to take him along? I think it would be great for him to come along and meet potential adopters - and we have grown to know him quite well now Let us know if we are needed! Vickie x

Those photos are lovely & really show off his sweet nature. Hope they help to find him a forever home with someone who is willing to ignore all the anti-staffy prejudice out there.

Met Bram today at the show. What a lovely dog.Considering he's been in kennels and all the dogs that were at the show he was really good.I had a few staffie kisses. Can't understand why such a good dog like him, has been in kennels for so long. Hope someone will give this boy a chance and his forever home is just around the corner.Good luck baby.

Bram is a babe, we met him at the show today and he was very good in such a busy place with so many dogs. He sat calmly next to Basil, Kirby and Porter and wasn't at all reactive. He is a lovely boy.

I really love the pic where Ian is cupping Brams face in his hands and Bram is smiling so sweetly with his eyes closed as if to say 'Mmmm this is the life'
