How is Candy's recall problem coming on? Have just discovered that Bonnie responds extremely well to a combination of whistles and roast chicken. (I mean tiny bits, not whole chickens!) She was off her lead for nearly all her walk this morning, just put her on it for the last half field.

Thanks for asking, still a long way to go I feel she is on a long line and I'm also whistle training, we are on the homebaked liver now. No distractions she's no problem, but if she gets her nose to the ground, its very difficult to get her attention and at the moment she is following the scent to far away for my liking

Bonnie is EXACTLY the same...she doesn't seem to be that fussed about actually chasing anything, although she will chase a rabbit if it runs right under her nose. But when she gets her nose down on a scent, it's as if all her senses are concentrated in sniffing and she goes blind and deaf to anything else! Haven't tried homebaked liver yet...may add it to the shopping list.

Awwwww Candy only stayed with me as a foster for a very short time while she passed though. She was definitely a favourite though
