Breed: Crossbreed (mum reputed to be lab/collie and dad  Dunno )
Age: 13 weeks
Dog friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: sometimes chases them as she wants to play - young enough to learn not to Wink
Child friendly: Yes
Fostered: Cardiff

She is likely to be medium sized when mature.

As she is such a young pup, she will need someone around most of the day.  It is a condition of adoption that she will be neutered at 6 months old.

Training classes would also be ideal, if for no other reason than to ensure she is well socialised.

While she has been in foster she has settled in really well and foster carer has been socialising her with as much as possible. Her housetraining is coming on really well which may need to be continued in her new home.

Update: 24 Feb
Her socialising and training are coming on well. Everyone who meets her loves her - sometimes she just loves to play with other dogs and people then sometimes she loves to sit and calmly watch what's going on.

Recall is good offlead but you'll probably have to keep reinforcing it as she grows up and becomes more confident about the outside world.

She's a typical puppy - into everything, but she is delightful.

She would love to be part of a family of her own family.

At night she sleeps well - at the moment she sleeps happily on her own in the kitchen and most nights now she's completely clean.

Details of our adoption procedures and adoption application form are here

Poppy with Katie - Poppy is black with a little white on her

Both pups have worked out how to use the catflap already and will sometimes go out to the loo by themselves and use outside; they do have accidents though so don't be fooled, you'll have to take them out regularly to get them into the habit of going outside. They're both sweet girls.

Poppy has been out for a socialisation 'walk' today - she felt a bit scared out and about to begin with but she was held anyway so eventually began to enjoy it. 1st stop was my local vets for cwtches and she met a four paws dog who we rehomed over a year ago now - then I took her to a friends to run round with their cav boy and she came away with a 4ft long tough cardboard roll to play with

Poppy is such a lovely sweet pup - enjoys rough and tumble with her sister - she's a bright little thing and you can often see her trying to work things out to get what she wants (her project at the moment is to see if she can climb over the 5ft panels that subdivde the kitchen area).

Both pups worked out how to use the catflap within hours of arriving here and when the door to that area is open they will go out to the loo of gtheir own accord. They both still have accidents though - often its overnight and 1st thing when they're very excited to see you.
