OK I am going to book us an 8m stall for this event.  With the price of the stall comes entrance for two adults.

I am going to buy extra tickets at concessionary rates for 1 child and 3 adults, so that's tickets for:

Matt
Pez
Kirsty
Colin
Gavin
Fran

I should be getting in anyway with the car club, so no need for a ticket for me :)

Hi Jo

:) How much is it  costing in total to book the 8m stall and tickets for this event? thanks Lynne  :)

p.s. Asking in my helping with fundraising/sponsorship capacity and with a view to other possible shows booked/being considered. Thanks again.

Hi Lynne

It's £40 for the stall, which includes entrance for two adults.  The tickets for other people we will be paying for between us, so the actual cost to the rescue is £40.

:) That's very good price JO, a lot less than some here I have been looking at, thanks :inlove:

The weather forecast is not great for tomorrow  :(.  I hope the planes can still fly.  I also hope that our car club doesn't get stuck in the mud.  We had infield parking last year, but if the ground is slightly moist we will get stuck  :o

Anyway - the planes have been practising today, so just in case they don't fly tomorrow, here's some video  ;D  They fly over our house and make everything rumble (much like our cars do  :rofl1: )

That video takes me back  :) I used to live in Royston, which was on the Herts/Cambs border and in direct line of flight with Duxford .. we used to get the planes flying over  ;D Used to sit in the street and watch the displays  ;D

I remember when I worked for Blackwells and we had our offices in Osney Mead and we got fantastic displays of planes sometimes before the Abingdon air show and one time there was a NATO exercise (the air power was amazing)
