As Rubble is still a youngster he will require a home where someone is around the majority of the time.  He isn't keen on being left alone and at night is happy to be in a crate as long as he can see his foster mum.   As with all young dogs, he will benefit from attending training/socialisation classes, please research classes in your area ahead of adoption.

Rubble is currently undergoing a 14 day assessment and will be ready for rehoming from 6/5/2017.  Applications are welcome from now.

Please put in an application in the first instance if you are interested in Rubble. Approved applications will be home checked.

Details of our adoption procedures/requirements, adoption application form and Privacy Policy are here http://forum.fourpawsanimalrescue.org.uk/index.php/board,21.0.html

Rubble has only just moved into foster so his foster carer is getting to know him but so far he's shown that he's a lovely affectionate boy, he loves his walks, travels fine in the car and is generally well behaved.  His foster carer will update more as she gets to know him.

Rubble had to change foster homes yesterday (17th May) for logistical reasons so him and I are only just getting to know each other. What I can say is that he is a very sweet, friendly and affectionate dog. He is getting on well with my two resident dogs and is quite curious about the cat, he wants to have a good sniff of him but the cat is having none of it!
Rubble is enjoying his walks, he likes to walk out front on the lead and ever so slightly pulls but as he is little it is manageable. He has been off the lead and his recall is excellent for a young dog.  He is happy to be out in the rain and doesn't mind getting his paws dirty.
He likes other dogs but much prefers humans. They are his whole world and he doesn't like to be far away from his person, so ideally he would like them to be around most of the time.
He slept in a crate next to my bed last night as that was the arrangement the previous fosterer had with him. He slept soundly most of night although did bark at the odd noise which is to be expected as it was his first night with us and he's not yet used to the noises around the house yet.
