Ronnie came into the care of Four Paws through no fault of his own. He is a happy, little dog who loves people. He has a lovely temperament, so friendly. Ronnie travelled well this morning on the long journey home, just sat on my lap looking amazed at the lorry's speeding past. Ronnie is very clever and knows quite a few commands, he has an amazing expression on his face. He loves to sit on your lap to be cuddled, even though we have only known him for a few hours he has settled in well with us and our resident dogs.
Ronnie had a lovely walk on the beach today, meeting many breeds of dogs, large and small. He greeted them all nicely with a few sniffs. He wasn't sure of the waves and getting his feet wet, but loved a little dig in the sand.
Ronnie is excellent walking on an extended lead, no pulling, just trots along nicely.
Ronnie loves his humans and likes to be close to you. He loves sitting on your lap, shoulder etc. Ronnie loves his food and will constantly eat if you let him.
Ronnie is such a good boy. He will stand by the door to let me know he needs the toilet. Ronnie loves his food and is my little shadow hoping for more treats. He has such an amazing look on his face he is hard to resist. Ronnie can be quite possessive so a home where he is the only dog would be ideal for him.
Am I handsome or what ?
Ronnie is such a lovey little character. He is living with an elderly Yorkie who is sniffs now and then but generally ignores. He's also living with a Collie that he loves to play with and chase on the beach and on his walks. In the house and around food Ronnie can get quite possessive. He is getting better daily now he realises he is having 3 nice meals a day there is no need to worry about anyone taking his food. He could live with another dog just as long as feed time is under strict supervision and Ronnie is fed well away from any other dogs.
Ronnie's recall is excellent, so we have been able to allow him off lead in a short space of time. His little legs race along in little speedies but he comes straight back, most of the time without being called.
Ronnie. Relaxing after his man op yesterday. As soon as he came in last night he wanted some food.
He's such a good boy leaving his stitches alone he don't need his cone.
