Little Donald arrived with me on Saturday so is still settling in at the moment. He did mark a couple of times around the house when he first arrived but he is no longer doing it (presumably because he's a bit more confident along with some reward training).
We tried to keep him in the lounge at night but he was having none of it and barked for an hour before I finally gave up. He is now sleeping in a crate in the bedroom and he is much happier knowing he is close to everyone.

Donald is a little darling, very friendly to people and likes a fuss. He walks nicely on the lead, he doesn't pull and he walks quite slowly. I took him for a walk with my two terriers who will go for miles and don't stop running. Poor Donald after half a mile was knackered, so he could do with little but often bouts of exercise to build up his stamina. He loved the walk though, he doesn't mind being out in the rain and is quite happy to get his paws muddy. I gave him a wash afterwards as he was also a bit smelly from kennels and he tolerated it pretty well.
