Adoption Procedure
« on: November 05, 2016, 16:44:44 PM »
I was looking at the adoption procedure and notice that you must visit the dog first with family and other dogs. Is that always possible if you live in another part of the country?. I remember with Lily, after we were home-checked, we just collected her from the kennels.

Hi Val,

Yes, we do always ask for the family & dogs to visit a dog in his/her foster home so that we can be sure everyone is going to get along together.  For people who live 2+ hours away we home check ahead of the visit so that if all is well the adoption can be completed on one visit rather than two.
