Lady - Not ready just yet!
« on: May 10, 2016, 16:23:40 PM »
As some will know Lady had the worst diagnosis last week - cancer in her lungs and possibly hip - but she's decided to make the most of her time left before she heads off to rainbow bridge as she reckons she's not ready yet

Saturday night we went to a friend's for birthday pizza - we left as always with one of mine leaving their mark after Lady dug all the water out the water bowl to swamp some of the kitchen (mind you she'd swamped the emergency vets the weekend before doing the same), managed to find out where the stash of pizza was that was left for my friend to eat later, and running off on the walk we did

Her best I love pizza, gimme some face  :luv:

Her best standing still before I run off pose

2 weeks ago I took all the dogs to the beach as it was about to close to dogs for the summer so we made the most of it and spent 6 hours down there.
When she arrived she looked like this

then she ended up like this so we could go home on the train looking like

I know my friend said the same when we went over on Saturday - her breathing sounds noisy but she wants to do stuff so I let her plus she loves people so I'd rather indulge her in that.

While she still has the same physical symptoms she has brightened up, which makes a huge difference. For about 10 days she had stopped coming up for cwtches the same way she had

Her breathing sounds awful though sometimes so hope it doesn't get worse and I keep having to stop Stella sitting on her as am sure having 25kg on top of wonky bones can't help either (Stella's a madam - if she wants to sit somewhere she will no matter who is siting there in the 1st place)

As long as she has company, time to nap, food, people to say hello to, walks, mud and the river she's happy
