been huge changes this last  6 months, he is a loving little charmer, except if anyone goes to near to mumsie then he gets highly protective (or jealous).

Plays hell if I go out without him, stands in front of the door barking and pretending to block the exit, then sulks till I come back. If we both go out fine and runs all over us when we get back.

Had a grooming last week oh boy that was a 2 day sulk, but fine now.

we have to be careful on the stairs as you are likely to trip over more than one toy.

what a boy

when he wants your special attention, will sit a few feet away and every 30 secs give a  grunt until you look, when you look this is what you see

I WANT TO PLAY

Benji went onto new meds  yesterday, have to get them imported from Oz,

What an instant result, cuut his coughing fits by 90%, doesn't cough when waking up (slowly or suddenly), coughs a few times if highly excited but nowhere like a coughing fit, event pulled to the end of his lead (cat) came to a sharp stop no coughing.

Still coughs after drinking unless the water is very shallow, I am convinced with only his canines he cannot control the water and ends up with some going down his windpipe because he always coughs up a little puddle.

So overall a great result and a more comfy doggy.

In case you have same problem, was originally going to go onto Lomatil but that now not available in UK, so he is on Lofenaxal

Hi,

think of him tomorrow going to vet for small operation.

he has 7-10 small skin tags but 2 have grown, one is quite raised like a jelly from a basin but is clean and skin pink, other is flat bit has expanded in area and the edges have small pustules which are weeping.

Going to have both off and biopsied fingers crossed.

I dread him in a lampshade he is too short to climb steps/stairs but have to dig the child gates out, and off course have to be careful he doesn't bump into things pushing the neck end into his trachea.

he is back home, they took off six, he is amazing, ate like horse when he got in, had a spot off difficultly getting up steps to garden and stairs because the treas  & risers are different dimensions but couple of goes and he cracked it. Not are all bothered by the lampshade.

there must be sanctuaries these wonderful dogs can go to I am devastated as an ex service man to know they put down so many faithful dogs.

Ah today was the day that the hood came off.

Oh boy when we got home he spent 20mins just liking his one paw, he looked so pleased then he spent another 20 mins running around rubbing each side of his face into the carpet whilst wagging his tail furiously.

Tried to have me and the vet when his stitches were coming out, bad news is we have found 2 they missed so its back again tomorrow for a quick visit.

He has a rough saturday, we found 2 stitches not removed took him to have the done, wasn't very happy going there again.

At11pm he went out garden came back in and the big wound on his flank had opened right up, diamond shape 1 1/4" by 3/4" of an inch had to go back up the vet for emergency treatment, they have stapled it this time, hope for his sake it holds, would have preferred glued because that would have been right along the wound.

fortunately doesn't need his light shade on as he can't/doesn't try to reach it. got to keep these in for 2-3 weeks as 10days was obviously to early for a skin stretch repair.
