Hi,

Just wanted to introduce myself...I am Teresa and I dove straight into fostering this week with an oversized lab named Max.  I believe Max was a hand-in and is with us for now to lose weight.  So far he is doing great...a typical lab, loads of energy, thinks he's really a lap dog !

He is great on and off lead, friendly to dogs and kids, knows basic commands.  Am thinking it won't be hard to find him a permanent home once he's shed some pounds :)

Hi Teresa

Welcome to the club, glad it sounds like it's going well. It's amazing that dogs of any size think they are lap dogs.... my friend has a great dane who thinks he is a lap dog....

Welcome to all new foster carers

When you feel your new charges are ready, it would be great if you would put a post up under Foster Dogs needing homes  ;)

If you need help, then either Simon (or whoever is your mentor), me or Em (emilyjw) will be able to help if you want to drop us a pm  :)

If Max is local to me as a hand in then I think I know where he came from ... now that's going to cause some fun with Mac and Max being walked down the trail

Welcome to all the new fosterer's
