                                                                         To All at Four Paws Animal Rescue

                                                      We wanted to start a Four Paws Memorial Tribute Donation Page .

                                             A page where people can come & share their feelings and can post a poem, a picture

                                                or whatever helps them in coping with their loss of a much loved dog cat or pet.

                                          bereaved owners can make a donation to Four Paws which can be a source of comfort to them

                                                                    to  be able to give to other animals in need.

                                  A year ago we lost our beloved Jodie    and were absolutely heartbroken, so as a fitting tribute to
                                 this special little dog we would like to be the first to start the Memorial Tribute and make a donation
                                   We would like to donate a cheque for £200 and also give you this little paws china dog to use as

                                                                      a prize in one of your new competitions

                                             Please find below our tribute to our darling Jodie. who will be forever locked in our hearts

                                                                       ~~~~~~~ JODIE~~~~~~~~
                                             Hello darling where ever you are, hope you’re having fun filled days without us.
                             We wish we could be with you to give you a hug and stroke your soft velvet coat just one more time.
                              We miss your happy little face and your warm friendly welcome. You were the light of our lives.
                                             Every day was full of you and when you went every day was full of emptiness.
                                  Why you were so special to us, only we know that secret and it will stay locked in our hearts forever.
                                   You will stay special for an eternity and we were so glad to have had the chance to love you.
                                                                  Stay safe little one until we come to fetch you.
                                                          xxxxxx Love forever & ever mummy & daddy xxxxxx
      As another year approaches without our darling Jodie  :'(   we wanted to thank fourpaws for helping heal our hearts by giving us Grace & Lola  :luv:
        this year we would like to make a different sort of donation  ;D
        we know that some catering  items are needed for your food stall at the annual summer show , and would like to offer to purchase them
        for fourpaws
                                                                     up to the value of £250.00  ;D
            these were some of the items that were mentioned that would help run a more successful food stall , so please feel free to choose from
             the following links which items you would prefer  and we will gladly purchase them for fourpaws
                Jodie we still miss you our darling girl , you will be locked in our hearts forever  :luv:
you offer your homes to these poor lost souls and all give up so much of your precious time, so this is a small token in comparison
to what some of you give  :luv:
you are more than welcome to our donation and I,m sure it will help raise more money for more rescued dogs  ;D
if you want something different to whats on the links just say and we are more than happy to oblige
hello sweetheart
I hope you are safe and know just how much we still miss you  :'(
It was 3 years ago today that we had to let you leave us ........... we didn't want you to go but your time with us had to come to an end .
if only we could have saved some of that precious time for a rainy day , I wouldn't care if it rained everyday  :luv:
but time waits for no one and so we go on with memories of you locked in our hearts forever
Jodie was one of those little dogs that is one in a million , we have never owned a dog like her before , she was a dream dog to own , such a very good girl and not a nasty bone in her body
I remember how tiny she was when we first brought her home ..... she was the last puppy in a litter that was not wanted , so of course we just had to rescue her
she was a puppy from heaven , no destruction at all , toilet trained in 2 days  :clap: and was so eager to please you every day
and so the years past and she grew into a loyal lovely old Lady age 13 ..... this was to be her last picture as we finally helped her to end her suffering from cancer on November 3rd 2008
R I P my angel
love always mummy and daddy x x x x
I am sat here crying my eyes out as you could be talking about our beloved Penny who passed away in April, she too had cancer and we did the last kind thing we could for her and ended her suffering. Everything you say about your darling girl mirrors ours so well, she too took 2 days to get clean, she had a beautiful disposition and never hurt anyone/anything. She was a tiny puppy from the RSPCA and was unwanted .She broke our hearts the day she left us and we are still trying to mend them. She was almost 11 yrs. Not a week has gone by when we haven't cried.
We have a gorgeous four paws boy called Toby now, and although he will never replace our little angel, he is making his own mark in our lives. We are blessed to have him.
I think you are a remarkable couple and wish you many years of happiness with your litlle darlings.  :grouphug:
thanks all ........... we know we're blessed with our 2 new girls but Jodie will stay in our hearts forever  :inlove:
this is why we started her memorial page so her life is remembered by doing something good for other dogs that have not been loved and cared for like my Jodie was  :luv:
sandy paws ....... sorry to hear about your loss of penny too . they really do take a piece of our hearts with them when they go don't they  :luv:
OK i've just read through this and balled my eyes out like a little baby. I will first say thank you for your lovely donations to four pawn and then a thank you from me for reminding me that gone never means forgotten. My girl Pippa went over the rainbow bridge christmas before last and my life has been empty without her. She is why i'm coming back to fostering now i have a nice big settled home. You've reminded me why four paws and all thats done through four paws is so important, not just for the users with four paws but us 2 leggers aswell. Thank you.
