Lovely Lolly has now been in her foster home for five weeks and she's ready to find her happy forever sofa. When Lolly went to her foster home she was very underweight and she had some bald patches, she really was so unhappy in kennels and had been there such a long time.
She's now gaining weight, she has mainly dried food with a little wet, once a week she enjoys liver and on Sunday she's partial to Sunday roast, plus all vegetables............... just not sprouts they are licked clean of gravy but left politely on the side of her bowl. Shes discovered Yorkshire pudding but doesn't feel it should be eaten fresh, Lolly likes to take it into the garden, bury it then dig it up a little while latter when she will eat it!!
Lolly loves her walks. Shes currently walking for about 1.5 hours a day, all on lead. She greets people and dogs out and about well. In her foster home she has access to a 100 foot garden where she runs loops, having mad zoomies and generally wearing herself out! Mud and rain don't worry Lolly she loves the shower and has a shower a couple of times a week. In fact her foster carer has to make sure she closes the door of the shower as Lolly is quite happy to join her for her daily shower!
Lolly seems disinterested in the cats that visit the garden. She loves being round her people and is quite happy to be with her foster carers nieces when they visit. This girl loves to give love and enjoys being picked up and nursed like a baby, yes she's 3 years old but she's reliving her puppy hood, and loving all the attention and love she's getting. Lolly sleeps happily downstairs overnight but give her an inch and she's up the stairs, onto the bed and under the covers where she will immediately fall off to sleep happy cwtched up in the warm dark! On weekends she does enjoy a cuddle on the bed with her foster carers.
Lolly is now such a happy girl but she would love a home to call her own. She would like her people to be around a lot of the day, and in return she will give you loads and loads of love and attention. Have you got a Lolly space on your sofa??
